3. SMS/Text Messaging Policy

HVAC IQ Pro may send SMS/text messages to users who have opted in to receive them. By providing your phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to the following:

  • Critical Alerts: Equipment failure warnings, abnormal temperature/amperage readings, and emergency notifications
  • Status Updates: Device connectivity changes, scheduled maintenance reminders, and diagnostic results
  • Account Notifications: Login verification codes, password resets, and account security alerts
b. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your alert settings and equipment status. You may receive up to 10 messages per day during active monitoring. Critical alerts are sent immediately regardless of frequency settings.

c. Opt-In

You must explicitly opt in to receive SMS messages by providing your phone number in your account settings and enabling SMS notifications. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or using the Service.

d. Opt-Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message from us
  • Updating your notification preferences in your account settings

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You will no longer receive SMS messages unless you opt in again.

e. Costs

Message and data rates may apply. HVAC IQ Pro does not charge for sending SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees.

f. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
