What is HVAC IQ Pro? +
HVAC IQ Pro is a smart monitoring platform that connects to HVAC equipment and provides real-time temperature readings, amp draw monitoring, AI-powered diagnostics, and instant alerts when something goes wrong. Built for service companies, property managers, and field technicians.
How does it work? +
  1. Install the hub near HVAC equipment (or have a technician install it)
  2. Connect sensors — temperature probes and CT clamps attach to the system
  3. Hub sends data via built-in LTE cellular (no WiFi needed)
  4. View dashboard — see real-time stats, history, and AI diagnostics
  5. Get alerts — receive notifications when issues are detected

What sensors does the monitoring hub support? +
  • 4× DS18B20 temperature probes (supply, return, outdoor, ambient)
  • 4× CT clamp current sensors for amp monitoring
  • 8× GPIO inputs for thermostat/relay state monitoring
  • Differential pressure sensor (DLHR-L60D)
The hub uses an nRF9151 SoC with built-in LTE cellular — no WiFi or SIM card required.
Do I need WiFi? +
No. The hub uses LTE cellular data (included in your subscription). This means it works in basements, mechanical rooms, and buildings where WiFi access is difficult. LTE is also more reliable than WiFi for 24/7 monitoring.
How is the hub installed? +
Temperature probes attach with thermal tape, CT clamps clip around wires (no electrical work required). Most HVAC technicians can install a unit in under 15 minutes during a routine maintenance visit. The hub auto-registers with the platform on first power-up.
What HVAC systems are compatible? +
HVAC IQ Pro works with virtually any residential or commercial system:

What’s included in the free tier? +
Diagnostic Mode is a full-featured diagnostic tool for field technicians. You can connect to any HVAC IQ Pro hub during a service call, see real-time sensor data, run AI diagnostics, and generate a report — all for free. It’s designed to help techs work faster, not to replace monitoring subscriptions.
Is there a contract or commitment? +
No contracts. You can cancel your subscription anytime. Service continues until the end of your current billing period. The hardware is yours to keep.
What happens if I cancel? +
  • Service continues until end of billing period
  • The hub stops sending data (no active cellular)
  • Historical data is retained for 90 days
  • You can reactivate anytime by resubscribing

How long is data stored? +
All paid plans include full historical data retention:
  • Compare heating/cooling seasons year-over-year
  • Track equipment degradation over time
  • Generate reports for customers or property owners
  • Verify repair effectiveness with before/after data

🔍 Troubleshooting

My hub shows offline — what do I do? +
  1. Check power: Is the LED on the hub lit?
  2. Check location: Metal enclosures can block cellular signal
  3. Power cycle: Unplug for 30 seconds, then reconnect
  4. Check subscription: Ensure your plan is active
If issues persist, contact support with your device IMEI.
Temperature readings seem wrong +
  • Check probe placement: Supply probe should be in the supply plenum, not touching bare metal
  • Verify connections: Ensure probes are fully plugged in
  • Allow calibration time: Readings stabilize after 15–30 minutes
  • Compare to thermostat: Return air temp should be close to your thermostat reading
I’m not receiving alerts +
  1. Check notification settings: Go to Settings → Notifications in your dashboard
  2. Verify email/phone: Ensure your contact info is correct
  3. Check spam folder: Add our email to your contacts
  4. Review alert rules: Make sure the alert type is enabled
